Activities including team building, canoeing and high ropes were on the agenda for Saints Foundation’s first week delivering the summer NCS project.

Over the summer break, we’ll be welcoming two waves of 16 and 17 year olds to enjoy Saints Foundation’s own spin on the National Citizen Service (NCS) experience.

Young people from across the city have joined us at the John Hansard Gallery this week. NCS helps young people have new experiences, broaden their CVs and give back to their community.

The first week of activities included team-building exercises out into the sunshine at Guildhall Square, and cooling down with canoeing at Woodmill Activity Centre.

Next week, groups will begin planning ways that they can give back to the community through social action projects.
