Caleb Watts' Tokyo 2020 guide

Southampton youngster Caleb Watts will represent Australia's Olyroos at the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.

After what was already a successful season for the youngster following a club and Premier League debut, 19-year-old will represent Australia at the Olympic games in Tokyo during July and August.

Watts, who is the youngest player of the travelling group, will look to follow the likes of Tim Cahill and Mark Viduka who used the Olympics to make their mark before becoming regulars in the national side.

The team named ‘The Olyroos’ will participate in Group C of the competition alongside Egypt, Spain and Argentina, in what is their first Olympic games since Beijing 2008.

Should Watts and Australia progress, the men’s quarter-finals will take place on Saturday 31st July, with the semi’s on Tuesday 3rd August and the final at the International Stadium Yokohama on Saturday 7th August.
