Midfielder James Ward-Prowse has not been included in England’s final 26-man squad for EURO 2020 later this month.

The Saints captain was named in the initial 33-man provisional group last week, but was omitted from Gareth Southgate’s final squad.

He will, however, remain with the group for the warm-up games against Austria (June 2) and Romania (June 6).

With Ward-Prowse’s involvement curtailed, Southampton will have four representatives at EURO 2020, with their preparations detailed here.
