Ralph Hasenhüttl has hinted that it may be a 'possibility' for striker Danny Ings to be included in Tuesday night's matchday squad, as Southampton host Crystal Palace at St Mary's.

The forward has been missing since picking up an injury at Tottenham Hotspur in late April, but has since resumed training and is back in contention for this week's Premier League double-header.

Ryan Bertrand and Oriol Romeu remain unavailable, but Michael Obafemi made his long-awaited return to the pitch against Liverpool at the weekend, completing 25 minutes without issue.

On Ings, the manager said: "I don't know it yet, it's possible. We'll have a look today in the session and then we can decide."

Speaking about Romeu and Bertrand, he added: "They are still not available."
