Saints Foundation has organised a week of activities for young people over the Easter break as part of Southampton City Council’s Holiday Activity and Food Scheme.

Our Premier League Kicks team are keeping children aged between 8 and 13 entertained with a four-day programme of sport and creative activities. The young people are also receiving a lunchtime hot meal.

60 young people from across the city have benefited from the Hubs, which have been set up at Woodlands Community College and YMCA Newtown Youth Centre. The week of delivery has been funded by Southampton City Council via their Holiday Activity and Food Scheme, which supports children who receive free school meals during school holidays.

Easter Kicks Community Hubs are supported by a number of partners, including the Premier League Community Fund (PLCF). Coaches from the Kicks team are delivering activities ahead of the return of our popular youth engagement programme later in April.

Thank you to City Catering for delivering hot meals to both venues, to HIS Church for providing snacks and water, and to PW Insurance for donating Easter Eggs for children at Newtown Youth Centre to enjoy.

We’re also grateful to Woodlands Community College and Newtown Youth Centre for opening their doors to our Community Hubs over the Easter holidays.
