Sunday 6th March, 2pm GMT

After penalty shootout heartache for Saints last-time-out, Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side have a chance to bounce back in another cup competition this weekend.

They host Crawley Wasps for the second time this season after meeting already at Snows Stadium in the league back in November.

Saints booked their place in the semi-final with a narrow victory over Hashtag United in the quarter-finals; Katie Rood scoring the winner with two minutes of normal time remaining.

Crawley also enjoyed a home win with fine margins, beating high-flying Southern Premier side Oxford United 1-0 at home.

The winner of Sunday’s semi-final will face either Liverpool Feds or Huddersfield town in the final.

Spectators can grab their tickets now ahead of Saints’ return to Snows Stadium.

Please note that Women’s season tickets are not valid for this game as it’s a cup tie, and so tickets must be purchased in addition.

The club advises that there is no parking available at Snows Stadium, but instead is available at the nearby Calmore Industrial Park (approximately a three-minute walk from the ground).

The two sides last met in National League Southern Premier action back in November 2021 at Snows Stadium.

Lucia Kendall opened the scoring during the second half after an even first 45, netting on 48 minutes as Saints came out the blocks.

A second soon followed via Ella Pusey, who found the bottom corner after being sent through one-on-one.

Pusey added a decisive second on 67 minutes, checking back and firing home to confirm a successful evening for Saints.

“The Ipswich match was a credit to the two teams and it was an advert for women’s football and the pathway.

“We’ve got to grow from that, we’ve got to learn from that and we’ve got to come back stronger again.

“I trust these players and I know what they’ll do. They’ll support each other and we’ll be ready for Sunday’s game."
