Southampton FC Women are on the road again in midweek, as they visit Chichester & Selsey in National League Southern Premier.

Saints made it two wins from two on Sunday with a 3-0 win at Plymouth Argyle, thanks in part to two of their new recruits.
Leeta Rutherford gave Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side the lead after 32 minutes with a thumping header, before adding her second also via her head just seven minutes later.
Rutherford was not the only player to open their account on Sunday, as Ciara Watling nutmegged the keeper with just under 15 minutes to go to seal the victory.
Chichester kick started their season at the weekend after an opening day defeat with a 1-0 victory over Oxford United.
Sophie Phelps scored the only goal for the home side, who will look to add to their first three points of the season on Wednesday night.

Spacey-Cale took some time to sit down and reflect on the season so far this week, saying; “It’s been a positive start and it’s been good to get a start like this as we need to grow into this league.
“This is unchartered territory for us and to play consistently week in, week out is certainly an objective for us.
“To get the first couple of games out the way and have two wins has been really important to give us that understanding of what it takes in this league.
“We’re pleased with where we are, but we know we’ve got work to do and you’re never satisfied until the end of the season and you look back and go ‘yes we achieved that’.
“We were quite strategic in who we’ve looked to sign as we wanted players who were at a high level and know what it takes.
“They understand that next step and our girls have had a taste of that with the FA Cup runs, but now it’s about the consistency.”
