Women's Goalkeeping Coach Will Britt departs club

After starting life in the club's Academy as a young goalkeeper, Britt eventually moved into a coaching capacity and, since 2022, spent four years with the Women's First Team.

His spell included a key involvement in the club's historic promotion to the second tier and move to a full-time set-up, in a rise from the third tier to becoming an established Barclays WSL2 side.

Head of Girls and Women's football, Marieanne Spacey-Cale, said, "Of course it's difficult to see Will leave us, but we wish him all the best for his next challenge.

"I would like to thank him both personally and professionally for his important involvement over the years, especially as we worked closely as part of the coaching staff in our promotion to the second tier.

"Will's efforts and care for the players, especially our goalkeepers, as well as his character off the pitch, has been a vital part of our success and we wish him nothing but the best for the future."
