Wear the badge: Deliver life-changing work in our local schools
We’re looking for people to join our team engaging with young people in local primary, secondary and alternative schools.
The badge has power. We use it to connect with young people, to inspire them, to encourage them to break down their barriers.
Our big, busy Education team are out in 24 locals schools every week, engaging with more than 2,000 pupils each year. Whether 5 or 16 years old, our work is helping our city’s young people boost their aspirations, improve their attitudes towards learning, and support their engagement in day-to-day school.
We need people to deliver this life-changing work, with roles available in local primary schools, secondary schools, and Southampton’s alternative schools, supporting pupils with a variety of different needs.
The kind of person we are looking for is someone who can create positive relationships with young people; someone who can help young people who are facing some big challenges with finding the right path.
You’re going to help them unlock things in themselves that they didn’t know were there. If that sounds like you, don’t hesitate to make an application, get in touch for more information, or attend our open evening next Monday (14 August) at St Mary’s Stadium.
You’ll get to meet some of the team, hear more about each role and ask any questions you may have. You do not need to attend to apply for any of the advertised roles, and this is not part of the interview, but please do sign up if you feel like it would be useful.
Roles available:
