Southampton Football Club’s Official Wellness Partner, Vitality, has come on board as the Official Event Partner for Saints Foundation’s upcoming charity walk, We March Together.

Saints Foundation are bringing the local community together to march as one through the city on Saturday 9th October, celebrating 20 years of the charity transforming lives across the community.

Vitality, the club’s Official Wellness Partner, has agreed to partner with We March Together, reaffirming their commitment to encourage participation and help people lead healthier lives.

Saints Foundation can also confirm that the charity's ambassador Lawrie McMenemy and Saints legend Glen Cockerill will join supporters for the march, with more legendary figures from the club’s rich history still to be announced.

The 5km route offers Saints fans a unique opportunity to look back at the history of their club. After a welcome and warm-up at Southampton Common, walkers will retrace the steps many fans will know well to the site of Saints’ former home, The Dell, before stopping off at St Mary’s Church, paying tribute to 135 years of Saints history where it all began.

We March Together reaches its conclusion with a special celebration at St Mary’s stadium with an opportunity for our amazing community to come together after what has been a challenging 18 months for everyone.

Greg Baker, Head of Saints Foundation, commented: “A huge thank you to Vitality for sponsoring our upcoming charity walk, We March Together.

“They are an ideal partner for an event that is all about getting people of all ages, from all corners of the community, out in the fresh air and exercising together.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to spread the word about this celebration of our 20th anniversary season and we’re really grateful to have them on board.”
