To mark Safer Internet Day, we are working with Barclays Digital Eagles to run virtual workshops across all sections of our community, from school children to Senior Saints.

Safer Internet Day (Tuesday 9 February) aims to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology. With everyone now spending significantly more time online, these workshops aim to educate participants across all pillars of our work about how to stay safe online.

The workshops will run throughout the week within several of our projects. Two sessions with young people aged 13 to 25 will focus on financial safety online, including how to shop online safely. Two further sessions will be targeted at our older adult participants, looking at how to identify the red flags of frauds and scams.

These sessions are presented in partnership with Barclays Digital Eagles, who offer digital knowledge and support to communities across the UK. They aim to make people of all ages more confident in their use of technology and the internet.

The UK Safer Internet Centre also has a range of resources available for teachers, parents and young people, including
