Unite for Access: The St Mary’s Sensory Room
The Sensory Room at St Mary’s Stadium is a game-changer for fans with sensory differences, as it offers a safe environment to enjoy matchdays. As part of Level Playing Field’s ‘Unite for Access’ campaign this year, we want to highlight the space to you and show you what it’s all about.
The Unite for Access campaign brings sports clubs across England and Wales together to shine a spotlight on accessibility at sports venues.
As part of that, we want to show you our Sensory Room.
Whether someone struggles with crowd anxiety and needs the comfort of a private space, they have a child with autism who could benefit from a calmer experience or a family member who has dementia, the Sensory Room is the perfect place to make sure they can still watch Saints together.
Earlier this season, we joined two Saints families in the space, so we could show you what gamedays in the Sensory Room are like ⬇️:
