Saints draw Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup

Nathan Jones's side are one win from the Carabao Cup final for the time since 2017.

Saints booked their place in the two-legged semi-final with an impressive 2-0 win over Manchester City at St Mary's, thanks to quick-fire first half goals from Sékou Mara and Moussa Djenepo.

Newcastle stand in the way of another Wembley trip, after they knocked out Leicester City with a 2-0 win at St James's Park.

The first leg of this fixture will take place at St Mary's Stadium in the week commencing January 23rd, with the reverse fixture a week later.
