Queensberry Promotions Gift Tickets to Inspire Local Participants at World Title Fight
Participants from across our projects will experience an unforgettable night of world-class boxing this evening, thanks to the generosity of Queensberry Promotions, who have gifted us tickets to the WBC Interim World Super Featherweight Championship fight.
Taking place tonight (Saturday 20 June), the fight will see Southampton’s own and Saints Foundation Ambassador Ryan Garner take on Italy’s Michael Magnesi in what promises to be a thrilling contest on the global stage.
The ticket donation has created a unique opportunity for our participants to attend a major sporting event; an experience many may not otherwise have had access to. From young people developing their confidence and employability skills, to individuals engaging in community programmes, the evening offers not only entertainment but inspiration.
Attending a live world title fight provides a powerful chance to witness elite sport up close, soak in the atmosphere, and be inspired by the dedication and resilience required to compete at the highest level.

Ryan has been our Ambassador since early 2025, and in that time has become an integral part of our Christmas campaign and has used his platform and past experiences to inspire participants from Saints Switching Play, a project he is deeply passionate about. Thanks to Queensberry Promotions, some of the participants Ryan has helped will now have the opportunity to be in the crowd for tonight’s event.
