Peretz: We deserved to win
Daniel Peretz was left "frustrated" following Southampton's 2-2 draw with Bristol City on Tuesday night.
The visitors took the lead after just five minutes, a Ryan Manning touch diverting a cross into his own net, before Cyle Larin levelled the scores just shy of the half hour mark.
Bristol City went ahead once more on 63 minutes through Sam Bell, but despite Ross Stewart equalising for Saints three minutes after coming on the hosts couldn't source a winner.
"For sure we are frustrated because we felt we deserved to win," said the Saints keeper, "we did everything for that. We were two times [behind] and we still managed to come back, so I think we can be proud for that.
"We play so often that we have no time to be disappointed. For sure we wanted to win, we are frustrated, but that's it, it is what it is, we cannot change it, so face forward, we keep on going.
"We have the confidence and the energy that we put between us and we know that we can do it. We can do everything, this is why football is so popular. Everything, anything can happen. So yeah, we believe and we try to create as much as possible.
"The most important thing is we are not going to finger point on anyone. We will all be one unit and stay together because we have each game that comes in front of us. So now it's about preparing and do everything to win on Saturday."
