WHAT KIT WILL SAINTS BE IN?

Saints will be wearing the black and yellow third kit for the trip to West Midlands, with black shorts and black socks.

Adam Armstrong celebrates scoring in the third kit at Rotherham.

WHAT’S AT STAKE?

Tuesday night's trip to Bristol City saw Saints' remarkable 25-game unbeaten run come to an end with their first defeat since September.

Russell Martin will be pleased his side have the chance to bounce back quickly with another outing just three days later, as they look to retake second place from Leeds United.

It won't be easy though against a West Brom side who have dropped just five points in their last ten matches at The Hawthorns (one draw and one defeat).

Carlos Corberán's side continued that home form on Tuesday night with a 2-0 victory over Cardiff City, meaning they sit fifth in the standings.

TEAM NEWS

Russell Martin offered a positive update on the availability of Flynn Downes and Ché Adams, who both missed the midweek trip to Bristol City, suggesting that their returns are close regardless of whether they travel to The Hawthorns.

THE MANAGERS

Carlos Corberán: To follow

Russell Martin: "We have a chance to really show that we are together and the little setback is only going to be that.

"I'm excited about it, I really am. I really am excited about what the guys are going to put on the pitch tomorrow and it's a brilliant game for us to bounce back quickly and bounce back properly."

ONES TO WATCH

Andreas Weimann: The experienced midfielder has found his goalscoring touch in recent weeks, scoring two and assisting one in his last three Championship outings.

With the Austrian international only starting one of these games, Saints will need to be wary of his potential impact off the bench, especially if this contest is as tight as the two sides' last meeting.

Sékou Mara: Although the Frenchman has started just twice in the Championship this season his impact from the bench, particularly following the turn of the year, has been profound.

Six goals in the last 11 matches since the end of December, including a goal and an assist during the comeback win over Huddersfield last Saturday, highlights the importance of the youngster who is continuing to grow in confidence.
