Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing start to their 2022/23 Premier League campaign.
Despite James Ward-Prowse striking Saints ahead in their opening day clash with Spurs, his side ultimately fell to a 4-1 defeat in North London.
It was a different tale for Leeds, who claimed an impressive 2-1 victory over Wolves at Elland Road.
Saints emerged victorious when Leeds last visited St Mary’s in October 2021, with Armando Broja’s goal the difference in SO14.
TEAM NEWS
Southampton will be without Lyanco on Saturday, as Ralph Hasenhüttl confirmed he missed out on training this week due to a problem with his knee.
Tino Livramento remains Saints’ only long-term absentee.
Jesse Marsch has been boosted by the return of Liam Cooper, Adam Forshaw, Daniel James and new signing Luis Sinisterra in training this week.
Luke Ayling, Junior Firpo and Stuart Dallas remain on the sidelines for Leeds.

Ralph Hasenhüttl: “We need a big reaction and have to be prepared for a tough one in big temperatures in the ground."
Jesse Marsch: “It will be very hot and that will be a factor in the match and we have to manage that. And we have to know that, for us, every game in this league is a massive challenge and we have to treat it as such.”
ONES TO WATCH
James Ward-Prowse: Having netted against Spurs in Saints’ season opener, as well as racking up 11 goals in all competitions last season, the Saints captain will be looking to lead his side to victory on Saturday.
Jack Harrison: The winger created seven chances in Leeds’ 2-1 victory over Wolves in their season opener and is certain to be a threat at St Mary's.
