Saints will be wearing their red home strip with white trim for the trip to Yorkshire.

After arresting a run of six straight league defeats with an impressive draw against a revived Chelsea side on Saturday, Southampton will be looking to register a much-needed win in the Premier League.

Without three points since the 1-0 win over reigning champions Liverpool at the start of 2021, Saints will hope to come out on top in the first league meeting between the two sides since 2012.

To do so, Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side will have to overcome a Leeds outfit who sit one place and two points ahead of them in the table.

A win for Marcelo Bielsa’s side would lift them into the top 10, whilst halting a run of back-to-back defeats.

As the relentless fixture list continues, Saints aren’t expected to welcome back any of their injured players for the trip to Elland Road.

Speaking after the match against Chelsea on Saturday, Ralph Hasenhüttl reported no fresh injury concerns whilst placing Stuart Armstrong’s chances of a return on Tuesday as 50/50.

For the hosts, they'll be unable to call upon Kalvin Phillips and Rodrigo once again, with Ian Poveda, Robin Koch and Adam Forshaw also sidelined.

Ralph Hasenhüttl: “We were watching this team very often. We haven’t played them so far, so an interesting game for us.

“We are able to get points there and so this is the goal for Tuesday.”

Marcelo Bielsa: "Every team has a bunch of negative results. The only teams that don’t have this problem are the ones at the top of the table. The teams in the middle of the table have not as big squads.

"When they are missing four or five players like everyone else they have to opt for youngsters to make substitutions during games."

Takumi Minamino: The Liverpool loanee has made an in instant impact since arriving on the south coast, netting two goals in three appearances for Saints.

His versatility in attacking positions has offered Ralph Hasenhüttl a valuable option with injuries ruling out Theo Walcott and Stuart Armstrong in recent weeks.

The Brazilian has quickly become a fans’ favourite at Elland Road since arrive from Stade Rennais, combining dazzling flair with hard-working performances.

With four goals and five assists to his name, Raphinha will need to be closely guarded by Southampton’s defence on Tuesday night.
