Duo called up for England Under-21 duty
Southampton Men’s First Team duo Sam Edozie and Taylor Harwood-Bellis have both been named in the latest England Under-21 squad for the upcoming 2025 UEFA U21 EURO qualifier against Luxembourg.
Edozie earns a first call-up to Lee Carsley’s squad having begun the 2023/24 season in impressive form for Saints, starting every game and scoring his first senior goal in last weekend’s win over Queens Park Rangers.
A part of England Under-20s’ squad for the U20 World Cup back in May, the 20-year-old now makes the step up.
Edozie will be joined by new teammate Taylor Harwood-Bellis, who captained the Under-21s to the U21 EURO 2023 title earlier this summer.
The 21-year-old has 19 caps for Lee Carsley’s side and will join Edozie for the first match of the qualifying campaign, which takes place on Monday 11th September (5pm BST) in Luxembourg.
