Commentate at St Mary's with Alan March Sport
Have you ever fancied yourself as a football commentator? No experience? No problem! Alan March Sport (AMS) is recruiting for our in-stadium access commentary team at St Mary's.
Who are Alan March Sport?
AMS runs commentary teams at 20 clubs nationwide, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Wolves in the Premier League. Our commentators have worked on the FIFA World Cup 2022, UEFA Euros 2020, 2022 & 2024, FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, and the London 2012 & Rio 2016 Olympic/Paralympic Games + many more worldwide events.
You'll be given full training on our specialist commentary service and assistance developing your current skills. If you've never picked up a mic before then we will look to identify your hidden talent, combining your love of football and desire to do something different on matchdays!
You’ll need be able to:
Commit to 70% percentage of Southampton Men's and Women's home fixtures (incl. pre-season & cups).
Occasionally carry a small amount of kit (<10kg).
Live within <70 minutes of the stadium and be able to arrive minimum 2 hours before KO (evenings & weekends).
Attend all day training at St Mary's on July 12th 2026, between 09:15–17:30.

This is a voluntary role. You will not be an employee of Southampton FC or Alan March Sport Ltd. Applicants must be 16+ on the training day.
