Blackburn clash brought forward
Southampton’s Sky Bet Championship home match against Blackburn Rovers has been brought forward due to Saints’ participation in the Emirates FA Cup semi-finals.
Saturday’s memorable quarter-final triumph over Arsenal will see Saints in cup action at Wembley on the weekend of April 25th/26th.
That means Rovers’ visit to St Mary’s, initially scheduled for Saturday 25th April, will now take place on Tuesday 14th April, kicking off at 8pm BST.
Supporters who have already purchased tickets for this game who cannot attend the rearranged match should contact the ticket office in writing by 5pm BST on Wednesday 8th April.
Meanwhile, Saints’ FA Cup semi-final opponents will be confirmed when the draw takes place live on TNT Sports 1 following the West Ham vs Leeds quarter-final, which kicks off at 4.30pm BST on Sunday. Other potential opponents are Manchester City and Chelsea.
