Bednarek "touch and go" as Kamaldeen returns
Southampton manager Russell Martin gave a largely positive team news update ahead of his side's meeting with Leicester City on Friday night.
Following a fortnight of international action, with 12 first team players heading away with their countries, the manager confirmed a largely clear bill of health ahead of the return to Championship action.
The only concern is Jan Bednarek, who was forced off with an injury during Poland’s 2-0 defeat to Albania on Sunday.
"Janny B will be touch and go," said Martin, "Nothing too serious but we hope he can be involved tomorrow. We have a feeling he can be and hopefully he feels the same way after today.
"We have options if he doesn't. Mason [Holgate] is here, Taylor [Harwood-Bellis] through 90 minutes for England. Whether Janny makes it or not we'll be well prepared."
One player who will defintiley be involved is Kamaldeen Sulemana, who the manager confirmed is finally in a place to be up for selection.
"He's been amazing, the energy has been great. He's a seriously exciting player. Now it's about getting him fit and can really impact games for us.
"I love watching him in training. He's got so much talent. We have to make sure we can get him to place where we can really trust him and he can trust himself to put in a performance.
"He'll be in the squad tomorrow so that's really positive for us and I look forward to seeing him on the pitch when he gets on there."
