Akachukwu joins Colchester on loan
Southampton Under-21s midfielder Romeo Akachukwu has joined Colchester United on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 19-year-old heads out to join the League Two outfit for his first senior loan move since arriving at Southampton in 2024 from his hometown club Waterford in the League of Ireland.
The Republic of Ireland youth international made his senior debut for Saints in the 2024/25 campaign as a late substitute against Cardiff in the Carabao Cup, before becoming an Under-21s regular this season.
