Return to St Mary's

Return to St Mary's

Find out about our plans to welcome fans back.

Over the coming weeks, Southampton Football Club will be bringing fans regular updates as they prepare to Return to St Mary's.

We'll keep you informed of new developments as we look forward to being able to welcome supporters back to the stadium.

Cashless: One of the initial changes that will be in place is that St Mary's is becoming a fully cashless stadium, meaning that all payments can be made by card only.

Stadium Store opening times: The Stadium Store, which will now be cashless, has reopened today with fans able to pick up Saints merchandise and buy Season Tickets from the store between 10am-4pm from Monday to Saturday.

Ticket Office opening times: The Ticket Office has already reopened with fans able to call 02381 780780 between 10am-4pm on Tuesday's and Wednesday's, or request a call back by filling in this form.

20/21 Fixtures: All Premier League fixtures have now been announced and you can find these here.

Clinically Vulnerable: Although the government guidance for the clinically vulnerable has changed and are no longer being advised to shield, the club do understand that some fans will not be comfortable returning to matches just yet, even with all the mitigating measures in place. In this circumstance, there will be an opportunity to opt out of any selection processes for returning to initial matches with reduced capacities. For the latest government guidance please click here.

Bubbles: The Club are working to ensure that supporters can select their social bubbles of up to 6 people from 2 households, and will need your help to understand more about your groups. Further information will be released in due course.

Ticketing: During the summer we have installed new readers at our turnstiles to enable tickets to be scanned directly from mobile phones. Supporters will be required to enter the stadium using tickets stored on their mobile phones or using print at home tickets. Please note this change has been made in line with government advice to reduce physical touchpoints, reduce the passing on of tickets through the black-market and to ensure compliance with the government track-and-trace scheme.

Due to this, we will be delaying sending out Season Ticket/Membership cards until a time we are safe to do so.

Reduced Capacity: It is highly likely there will be capacity restrictions when fans are first allowed back to stadium. The club have been working on a system which provides fair and equitable access, albeit weighted towards our most regular attendees, and will seek to give every Season Ticket Holder who wishes to attend a chance to do within the first few games of supporters being allowed into stadiums once again. We will confirm the extent to which capacity restriction will be as soon as we have that information.

Safety on matchday: We are working with Government and Premier League guidelines, and implementing measures to ensure the wellbeing of all in our stadium. This may include one-way systems to ensure smooth movement throughout the stadium, hospitality areas and concourses, hand sanitising stations, mobile ticketing, timed entry.

The Saints Promise: The club have committed to a series of promises, should any Season Ticket holder miss out on a fixture due to the coronavirus pandemic. Included in this, is a refund, within 14 days of announcement, for any fixture that can't be played at St Mary's with fans. For full details of the Saints Promise please click here.

Code of Conduct: Supporters will be required to read, understand and agree to measures in place by the club to ensure their safety ahead of a matchday. This may be through email, so please ensure your details are up to date, and that those in your bubble are included in your friends and family, click here to update your details. If you wish to receive communications through other forms of contact, please contact Supporter Relations at [email protected]
