Matchday Travel Information
Men’s First Team
Parking at St Mary’s Stadium is sold out to blue badge holders on a seasonal basis. If you're a blue badge holder and would like to be added to our waiting list, please email [email protected]. Please note that the waiting list is very busy and therefore you may have to wait a few seasons before being offered a space.
Southampton Football Club advise visiting fans not to travel by private car into the surrounding areas of Southampton. Due to parking restrictions operating on a matchday, we recommend making use of public transport wherever possible. However, if you do choose to drive to St Mary’s Stadium, you can make use of a local City Council car park:
We also offer a Park & Ride service. The full information on this service can be found via: https://www.southamptonfc.com/supporter-services/park-and-ride.
In addition to the above, we have a ‘Train Station Shuttle’ which travels to and from the stadium – buses run every 20 minutes from the Southampton Central Train Station. Buses operate from the south side of the station (platform 4), starting 2 ½ hours before the scheduled kick-off for all First Team matches. The buses will drop off and pick up supporters at Chapel Road. Return buses operate for 45 minutes after the final whistle. Please note that from February 13th 2023 the south side of Southampton Central will be closed to public transport and therefore the shuttle bus will be operating from the north side.
Another shuttle bus runs from Terminal 2 at Southampton’s Town Quay. Services are timed to depart five minutes after the arrival of the Red Jet service from Cowes. Passengers can purchase bus tickets from Red Funnel with their ferry tickets. Supporters that use the car ferry and Hythe Ferry are also welcome on the buses.
This is priced at £3 for an adult return, and £2 for a child return. Concessionary passes are accepted. This service is open to all home and all visiting supporters.
