Absolar
Absolar are an award-winning start-up on a mission to help households and organisations respond to the climate emergency, reduce carbon footprints, and save energy costs. They use AI and big data to assess energy efficiency on a large scale, providing households with free independent assessments of solar panel feasibility and connecting them with local, highly rated solar installers, in turn helping to support green job opportunities and emerging technologies.
Greener Guest
Greener Guest is a social enterprise that makes it easy for the hospitality and tourism industries to replace single-use plastics with sustainable alternatives. They provide businesses with all the information they need to understand and reduce their current plastic footprint through their online portal The Learning Zone, while also allowing them to buy a wide range of sustainable alternatives to single use plastics in The Marketplace, their B2B e-commerce website.

Inpulse’s range of activewear gives people a faster, safer, and more sustainable way to build muscle strength. Their technology continuously monitors body movements and muscle activity with precisely controlled muscle stimulation enhancing the user’s muscle performance in real-time, increasing strength by up to 30% during use.
Labl.it
Labl.it is a commercial kitchen management software designed to simplify and automate the food preparation process for the hospitality sector. With no standardised software currently in use within the industry to maintain accurate records and ensure appropriate safety standards are maintained, Labl.it’s technology will reduce the time it takes to produce food labels and prep lists by up to 75% each day.
The Flourish Project
The Flourish Project uses a social enterprise model to create a high-quality bakery business in Southampton while also offering vulnerable women in the city a place where they can train, learn and work. The Flourish Project aims to support vulnerable women on their journey to grow in independence, aspiration, wellbeing, and employability by providing them with guidance, mentoring and a supportive community.
Sibstar
Sibstar aim to provide the 885,000 people living with dementia in the UK with financial independence through their secure pre-paid debit card and app. Offering a financial service that is specifically designed to meet the needs of people living with dementia and their carers will help to re-educate society, improving tolerance and respect for those living with dementia.
The next stage of the process is for the six shortlisted applicants will present a live pitch to our panel of senior board members at Southampton Club. We will share updates following the decision panel and the final decision.
