Senior Saints

Maintaining independence and improving wellbeing is at the forefront of Senior Saints and we bring that to our older adults in the community.

Whether through circuit training, seated exercise classes or walking sports, there is something to fit all abilities. Our aim is to improve physical health whilst creating a welcoming atmosphere so all can feel the benefit across the city.

Sessions run daily throughout the year, with our staff on hand to provide assistance and expertise, now is the time to enjoy exercise, make new friends and stay independent.

We are currently running a blended programme of online delivery alongside some outdoor walking sessions. Our Senior Saints Strolls are for anyone over the age of 60, all at a moderate level and between 2 to 3km. The current timetable (as of May 2021) is as follows:

  • Tuesday AM – Southampton Common
  • Wednesday AM – Riverside Park
  • Thursday AM – Southampton Sports Centre, Dunkirk Road
  • Friday AM – Weston Shore
