The Society of St James and Saints Foundation have mutually agreed to dissolve the current partnership for the delivery of the Saints4Sport project as of 27th May 2022 and with it, the Saints4Sport brand.
Both organisations are committed to working collaboratively in the future to support the City’s most vulnerable residents albeit in different, but complementary way.
We recognise this may be unsettling for partner organisations and participants, but we will continue to provide a wide-range of sporting activities and support for those with complex needs.
Both organisations will ensure there is no break in service by supporting the launch of The Society of St James’ Re-Fit (Southampton) programme on the 27th May. Saints Foundation will be launching their new complementary programme later in the Summer.
We as a partnership are extremely proud of the work we have been doing together since 2007 and during this time have supported hundreds of the City's most vulnerable individuals. It is now however time for a change in order for each organisation to continue to meet its strategic objectives, and recognise that whilst we will not co-deliver the Saints4Sport project, both organisations have a crucial role to play in supporting those who need it most.
All existing participants will be offered the opportunity to transfer to the new SSJ Re-Fit programme and new referrals should be sent to [email protected].
