Three Saints loanees were in action this weekend, with Dan Nlundulu continuing to impress at Cheltenham Town.

Nlundulu picked up from where he left off with Cheltenham Town as he produced the opportunity to give the League One outfit the lead at the half-hour mark.

It wasn’t to be for Wade Elliott’s side, who ended up suffering a 3-2 defeat to Peterborough at Whaddon Road.

In the Championship, Will Smallbone made his debut for Stoke City, coming on as a substitute in their 2-0 loss to Millwall.

Across the border, Ross County also suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Hearts, with Kazeem Olaigbe appearing for the side in the 64th minute.

Olaigbe has already settled in to life in Scotland, having scored twice in County’s Scottish League Cup outing against East Fife, opening his account just three minutes after entering the field of play.

The youngster also paired up with former Saint Josh Sims to provide an assist in their 2-0 victory over Alloa Athletic.

Southampton Football Club are looking forward to watching all of our players out on loan this season, including Kegs Chauke, Thierry Small and Caleb Watts who have gone to Exeter, Port Vale and Morecambe respectively.
