Three of Southampton's Premier League matches at the start of the 2022/23 campaign have been chosen for live television coverage.
The back-to-back home games against Manchester United and Chelsea at the end of August will now both be shown live on BT Sport, with September's trip to Aston Villa broadcast live by Sky Sports.
Erik ten Hag's side will now head to the south coast for a lunchtime kick-off on Saturday 27th August (12.30pm BST), while the Blues will walk out at St Mary's 24 hours earlier on Tuesday 30th August (7.45pm BST), with Saints' trip to the Midlands brought forward to Friday 16th September (8pm BST).
The fixtures will now take place as follows:
- Southampton vs Manchester United - Saturday 27th August, kick-off 12.30pm BST (live on BT Sport)
- Southampton vs Chelsea - Tuesday 30th August, kick-off 7.45pm BST (live on BT Sport)
- Aston Villa vs Southampton - Friday 16th September, 8pm BST (live on Sky Sports)
