Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day with one inspiring young lady – meet SaintsAbility participant Amelia.
You might recognise Amelia and her beaming smile – she’s been coming along to our disability football sessions for several years now, and more recently she’s taken centre stage as poster girl for Saints Foundation’s limited edition charity shirt.
To celebrate World Down Syndrome Day (Monday 21 March), we took a trip down to SaintsAbility to hear from Amelia, her mum, and her coach about why these sessions are a great way to spend a Monday evening.
