Earlier this month, Saints fans and supporters of Saints Foundation joined together to take part in the charity’s We March Together, which was supported by Official Event Partner Vitality.
The charity walk took place on Saturday 9th October with over 150 supporters turning out for a unique experience, retracing the club’s history on a 5km route to celebrate the Foundation’s 20th year and raising an incredible £11,000 in the process.
As part of their commitment to encourage participation and help people lead healthier lives, Vitality, the club’s Official Wellness Partner, gave their support to the charity walk by becoming We March Together’s Official Event Partner.
Participants met at Southampton Common for a warm-up before heading to St Mary’s along a route that included stops at the site of the club’s former ground, The Dell, and St Mary’s Church, where the club was founded 136 years ago.
Among the fans that joined together for the charity walk were participants of Saints Foundation’s many initiatives across the city, alongside Foundation ambassador James Beattie who also took part in the march.
