Southampton are set to play back-to-back pre-season friendlies in Wales at the end of July, meeting both Cardiff City and Swansea City as preparations for the 2021/22 Premier League season take shape.

Ralph Hasenhüttl's side are headed for a five-day training camp, combined with two friendly fixtures against Cardiff on Tuesday 27th July (7pm BST) and the Swans on Saturday 31st July (3pm BST), due to be held at Cardiff City Stadium and Liberty Stadium respectively.

The majority of the first-team squad are due to report back to Staplewood Campus on July 5th, with Saints' international representatives given a slightly later date.

Plans for the remainder of the pre-season schedule will be revealed in due course, with the Premier League season officially kicking off on Saturday 14th August against Everton (3pm BST).
