Paul Hardyman’s side will be relishing a return to the Under-18 Premier League this weekend, following a successful outing in the FA Youth Cup.
Goals from Kazeem Olaigbe, Sam Bellis and Kegs Chauke helped Saints comfortably progress during their third-round tie with Coventry City at St Mary’s Stadium.
Saints’ last U18 Premier League game came the week prior; a narrow 2-1 defeat at Staplewood to Norwich City.
West Brom also played on that game week, an entertaining 2-2 draw at home to West Ham, with Mo Faal and Alex Williams scoring for the hosts.
LAST MEETING
The last match-up between these two sides came back during the 2016-17 season, also at the West Bromwich Albion Training Ground.
Saints took an early lead after just three minutes through Harlem Hale, before the hosts turned the game on its head through two quick Nick Clayton-Phillips goals.
The equaliser came on 75 minutes through Michael Obafemi, who also hit the post in the closing stages.
Manager at the time Craig Fleming said: “We weren’t at our best today by a long shot but they dug in, stayed in the game and got the equaliser late in the game.”
