Fans to return to St Mary’s

By SFC Media time Thu 26 Nov Return to St Marys

Following the confirmation this morning that the city of Southampton will fall under tier 2 of the government’s local restriction tier system, the club is pleased to confirm that it intends to welcome a maximum of 2,000 fans back to St Mary’s, starting with the Sheffield United fixture currently scheduled for Sunday 13th December.

Whilst the process of issuing such a restricted number of tickets is far from ideal, the club is confident that the work it has done up to now, including making season tickets available to purchase back in June and ensuring supporter information is up to date, has put us in a very strong position to welcome supporters back at short notice.

The club has also been working with supporter groups to create a fair method of distributing tickets to fans. Details of this process, along with all the information season ticket holders will need in order to be considered for selection to attend games, will be communicated in due course.

In the meantime, the club urges supporters to ensure they have checked and updated their customer details on our ticketing website ahead of Wednesday 2nd December.

We look forward to safely welcoming our fans back to St Mary’s.
