Southampton FC Women’s visit to AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust in the first-round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup will be played on 13th December.

Saints booked their place in the first-round proper of the competition with two emphatic results in qualifying.

The first round of qualifying saw a trip to Helston Athletic in Cornwall, with Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side coming away 11-0 winners.

Next up was a visit to Somerset and Ilminster Town, with the side scoring four without reply.

Their first-round proper will also see the side head on the road, with AFC Bournemouth CST the hosts.

AFC Bournemouth saw off Buckland Athletic in the previous round 3-1, as they now look to avenge their previous meeting with Saints in last year’s Hampshire Cup.

In front of a record crowd of 832 at Snows Stadium, Saints triumphed 7-1 last November as five different players got on the scoresheet.

Further details of 13th December’s rearranged tie will be announced in due course.
