Southampton winger Josh Sims has joined Doncaster Rovers on loan until January.

The 23-year-old today completed a move to the Keepmoat Stadium, where he will be looking to strengthen the League One side’s promotion credentials.

Doncaster, who finished ninth in the third tier last season, are currently 11th in the table, with manager Darren Moore’s team having taken seven points from their opening four matches.

Academy graduate Sims has previously spent time on loan with Reading and New York Red Bulls, and will now hope to earn more senior experience with Doncaster.

The club wishes Josh well for the coming months and will be following his progress closely while he is with Rovers.
