Southampton Football Club has today issued an update regarding its 2020/21 replica shirts, following the recent appointment of Sportsbet.io as new Main Club Partner.
The club is pleased to confirm that supporters who have already purchased a 2020/21 shirt with LD Sports on the front will be able to claim a complimentary, updated replacement and will also be able to keep the original shirt as a gesture of the club’s gratitude for their patience.
Updated home, away, third, and goalkeeper shirts featuring the Sportsbet.io logo are now also available for pre-order online and in-store from midday today, priced at £45, with a promise that these new shirts will be delivered to fans in time for Christmas. Supporters will shortly be able to pre-order the shirt in youth sizes priced at £40, which will feature a Virgin Media logo.
Our new Main Club Partner Sportsbet.io has also kindly offered to cover the cost of printing a name and number on all replacement shirts for fans who had previously purchased a 2020/21 replica shirt through official club channels – even if the original shirt did not have any printing.

In order to get the shirts re-made as quickly as possible, the club’s Technical Partner Under Armour have kindly granted the club permission to replicate the shirts via a third-party provider. As a result, the shirts will be an exact replica of the playing shirts worn by Ralph Hasenhüttl’s first team, but without Under Armour branding.
We would like to thank fans for their understanding and patience following the difficult decision to halt sales of the 2020/21 shirt whilst the club worked to resolve this complex issue.
• What action do I need to take in order to receive the updated 2020/21 shirt?
No action is required at present other than to keep an eye out for further communication, but please ensure you keep hold of your proof of purchase, or the relevant bank statement, as this will be needed as part of the replacement process.
• I bought the 2020/21 shirt with LD Sports on the front from a Saints Store in October - can I claim the complimentary shirt?
Any shirt with LD Sports on the front purchased from Friday 2nd October 2020 will not be eligible for a complimentary replacement shirt or complimentary printing.
• Should I pre-order the 2020/21 shirt with Sportsbet.io on the front as a replacement for the shirt I bought previously featuring LD Sports?
There is no need to pre-order an updated shirt if you have already purchased a 2020/21 shirt. We will send out further instructions with the exact process for receiving a new gifted shirt. Replacement shirts will be sent to fans as a priority before further stock is released.
• I would prefer a refund for the 2020/21 LD Sports shirt - how do I claim a refund and will I need to return the shirt?
Fans who purchased their shirts from the Saints Stores at Westquay, St Mary’s or online can obtain a full refund if the shirt is unworn and remains with original tags and packaging. If you have returned your shirt already, you will not be eligible for the gifted shirt from the club. Please ensure you provide your proof of purchase and return your shirt in its original packaging.
We will provide a further update about how supporters that purchased their 2020/21 shirt online will be able to request a refund.
• Will there be postage and packaging costs when receiving my replacement shirt?
Supporters will be able to get hold of their complimentary shirt free of charge if they do so in-person at either our Westquay or Stadium Stores. Those wishing to have their complimentary replacement delivered to them directly will be subject to a £5 postage and packaging fee.
• Can I request a change of home, away, third or goalkeeper, or a different size to the one I originally purchased?
Yes, fans will be offered the choice to select a different variation and/or size when we share information about how you can obtain your replacement, whether you bought your shirt in-store or online.
• When will I receive my complimentary shirt?
We are expecting delivery of the new shirts in either late November or early December. We will update fans with instructions for how you can obtain your complimentary shirt in due course.
• Can I still get the refund if I have worn the shirt?
No. Refunds will only be issued for shirts that have not been worn, are in their original packaging and are accompanied with a proof of purchase. If you have already worn your shirt you will still be eligible for a complimentary replacement of an updated shirt.
• My shirt was a gift, can I still get the gifted shirt?
Yes. You will still be able to request a new shirt either in-store with proof of purchase, or online when this process begins, details of which will follow in due course.
• I live overseas, how do I get my replacement?
You will still be able to request a replacement shirt but please note that international postage and packaging charges will apply.
• I bought my shirt elsewhere, can I still get a replacement?
No. Replacement shirts are only available to fans that purchased their 2020/21 shirt through the Saints Stores at Westquay and St Marys, or online at Southamptonfc.com.
