After a tough result to take last time out at Staplewood Campus, Dave Horseman’s side will be looking to bounce back with a win on Saturday in North London.

Two Dan N’Lundulu goals put Saints ahead last week, his first two of the season, but opponents West Ham fought back to grab a late point.

Saints’ next opponents, Spurs, have made an unbeaten start to the new season, beating their North London rivals Arsenal away from home last time out.

Rodel Richards got the winner for Tottenham just past the hour mark, meaning it’s two wins from three to start the season for Saturday’s hosts.

LAST MEETING

Saints and Spurs met only the once last season in PL2 before the season was curtailed in March, their match-up coming over a year ago in mid-September at the Tottenham Hotspur Training Centre.

Goals from Dilan Markanday and Harvey White put the hosts in control during the first half, but an own goal courtesy of Jubril Okedina gave Saints hope just a minute after Spurs’ second.

The equaliser came in the 64th minute; Kornelius Hansen scoring to complete the comeback and earn Saints a valuable point.

Jake Vokins crossed the ball in from the left, causing confusion inside the Tottenham penalty area, before Hansen gratefully tucked away at the back post.

MANAGER'S NOTES

Reflecting on the two points dropped last week to West Ham, Horseman said: "We were much better on the ball last weekend. But we needed to be more clinical in the first-half to put the game to bed.

"Tottenham are a really good team. They use slick passing patterns and have scored some excellent goals in the games so far.

"We will have a couple missing so this is a big chance for others to step up and take the opportunity."
