Season Ticket holders: Update your details

By SFC Media time Tue 22 Sep Return to St Marys

As we prepare for a potential return of fans to St Mary’s during the 2020/21 season, Season Ticket holders need to update their ticketing account with information that will help us plan for their potential attendance at future games.

We request that Season Ticket holders provide this information by 4pm on Wednesday 23rd September – please note, this process will require fans to log into their ticketing account online and navigate to the 2020/21 Return to Stadium Portal.

It's important to be aware that fans must complete the action of selecting that they wish to attend matches in order to be entered into the seat allocation process.

Though we appreciate current government advice suggests a return to watching games may not be imminent, we are using the current guidance to gather the right information that allows us to manage your return smoothly when you are allowed back to St Mary's.

We do not currently have confirmation of when fans will be able to return to St Mary’s but we will provide an update as soon as we have this information.

As part of the process of updating your details through the 2020/21 Return to Stadium Portal, supporters will be made aware of a Code of Conduct, which will detail what is expected of fans returning to the stadium.

The club will be ensuring it takes appropriate steps to ensure the wellbeing of supporters and staff, with a number processes introduced for safety, including one-way systems, hand sanitisation stations, social distancing requirements and temperature checks.

Further information on attendance restrictions and the seat allocation process, as well as full details of what to expect on returning to the stadium, will be shared in due course, but rest assured the club is placing the safety of fans and staff at the heart of its thinking throughout.

As a reminder, Season Ticket cards will not be issued until the club is able to fully reopen the stadium, meaning supporters will initially need to be allocated different seats. The club appreciates this is not an ideal situation, but it will do its best to ensure supporters are seated as close as possible to their normal seats, and the club is grateful for fans’ understanding as it attempts to ensure as many as possible can attend.

Any tickets issued will either be print-at-home or mobile tickets.

Actions for Season Ticket holders

The club requires information from Season Ticket Holders on who they would like to sit with at upcoming matches, or if supporters feel comfortable in attending. This information must be submitted by 4pm on Wednesday 23rd September and is to be actioned by logging in to your ticketing account.

The club fully understands some Season Ticket holders are classified as clinically vulnerable and are continuing to shield, and also that some supporters may not feel comfortable returning yet. Therefore, we are providing an opt-out throughout October and November initially, with a further communication ahead of our home match against Sheffield United, which is scheduled for December 12th.

If you wish to opt out, please follow the guidance in Section One.

If you wish to attend games from when the government permits, please go straight to Section Two.

Please be aware that once you have made your choice, you cannot then alter it for this round of matches.

These processes are designed to cover Premier League games in October and November, although please note this is not confirmation that fans will necessarily be permitted to return for these.

Section One - I am clinically vulnerable and not able to attend matches in October and November, or I am not comfortable attending yet

1. Log into your ticketing account online.
2. Visit the event 20/21 Return to Stadium Portal. This will be at the bottom of your My Saints Account homepage once you have logged in – this will only show for 20/21 Season Ticket Holders.
3. Next to ‘Clinically vulnerable’, choose the number of people you are selecting this option for from the dropdown menu and add to cart.
4. This will summarise your selection. Then Proceed.
5. Assign the Supporter Numbers from the friends and family list.
6. Read and accept the Southampton Code of conduct.
7. Complete your order.
8. You will then receive a confirmation email.

Please note, if you begin this process and have had to abandon the booking, or log out before completion, you may need to wait up to 30 minutes before attempting to resubmit.

If you are not classified as clinically vulnerable but are not yet comfortable attending, please still use the ‘Clinically vulnerable’ option.

Alternatively, call the Ticket Office on 02381 780780 between 10am and 4pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or visit the club’s ticketing representatives in the Stadium Megastore between 10am and 4pm Monday to Saturday.

Section Two - I wish to attend matches myself/in a group

The club is currently working towards guidelines of allowing “bubbles” of up to six people from two households. This means that, for example, two friends from different households can be in a bubble, or a family/group of four who live at the same address and up to two further people who also live at a single address can be grouped as one bubble. Each bubble can only be submitted by one person within the group.

Anyone selecting bubbles containing more than two households shall have their application voided. It is key the club captures this information, and that supporters abide by the Code of Conduct.

1. Log into your ticketing account online.
2. Visit the event 20/21 Return to Stadium Portal. This will be at the bottom of your My Saints Account homepage once you have logged in – this will only show for 20/21 Season Ticket Holders.
3. Next to ‘Able to attend’, choose the number of people you are selecting this option for from the dropdown menu (1-6 people) and add to cart.
4. This will summarise your selection. Then Proceed.
5. Assign your/the group’s Supporter Numbers from the friends and family dropdown list.
6. Read the Southampton Code of conduct. This must be adhered to at all times and agreed to for fans attending matches.
7. Complete your order.
8. You will then receive a confirmation email that your application has been received. This does not guarantee you tickets. Further information will follow nearer to the scheduled matches as to whether you have been successful.

Please note, if you begin this process and have had to abandon the booking, or log out before completion, you may need to wait up to 30 minutes before attempting to resubmit.

Alternatively, call the Ticket Office on 02381 780780 between 10am and 4pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or visit the club’s ticketing representatives in the Stadium Megastore between 10am and 4pm Monday to Saturday.

Additional information

• This process is only open to Season Ticket holders at this point.

• Individual attendance, grouping and shielding selections will cover all Premier League matches in October and November. Further information regarding matches in December, beginning with Sheffield United, will be issued via the club website during November.

• Season Ticket holders are asked to complete this by Wednesday 23rd September, 4pm. Those who do not complete the action of selecting that they wish to attend and therefore do not agree to our Code of Conduct will not be entered into the seat allocation process.

• As stated previously, due to restrictions around seating we will not be able to guarantee Season Ticket seats to be used. We will attempt to assign seats as near as possible to fans’ current blocks and price points.

• Disabled supporters successful in the ballot will be given seating as close to their existing seats as possible.

• As a Season Ticket holder, the normal rules apply; there will be no refunds for non-attendance if you have been allocated a ticket. We will endeavour to give as much notice as possible, but seats are not transferable, nor can a refund be made if you cannot make the date.

• Refunds for those unsuccessful or who are shielding will take place after all match tickets have been assigned.

• Supporters are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct that is laid out. Failure to do so could cause the supporter to be denied access to the match or ejected, and could have further repercussions for their Season Ticket. Please follow this code to ensure the safety of yourself and others, and to allow us the opportunity for as many fans to return as soon as possible.

• Please note, the Premier League have confirmed that all of Southampton’s games during September will be shown live on TV. For full details of confirmed broadcasters, visit the fixtures page on the club website.
