Both Stuart Armstrong and Jan Bednarek enjoyed successful Monday nights whilst out on international duty, featuring in UEFA Nations League wins for Scotland and Poland respectively.
Armstrong played 80 minutes of Scotland’s 2-1 win over the Czech Republic, which lifted Steve Clarke’s side to the top of Group B2 at this early stage.
Goals from Lyndon Dykes and Ryan Christie were enough for the tartan army to get the three points away from home.
Elsewhere Bednarek played the full 90 as his Poland side came back to also win 2-1 against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Kamil Glik equalised for Jerzy Brzęczek’s side in the 45th minute, before West Brom’s Kamil Grosicki sealed the three points, their first in Group A1.
