#SaintsFC: Top tweets of the 2019/20 season

By SFC Media time Thu 30 Jul Club

With the 2019/20 season having drawn to a close, we look back on some of the best moments from our Twitter account during the campaign…

Muting THAT result!

As the team got ready to face Leicester for the second time during the season, we thought we’d get ahead of things before our mentions column filled up!

As it turned out, the number nine would be important again in the rematch, as Danny Ings hit the decisive goal in a 2-1 win at King Power Stadium…

Hands off!

No further words required…

No football, no worries!

When our game against Norwich City was postponed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we thought we’d have a go at playing something else…

The trouble was, Norwich never showed.

So we let Manchester City in on the action instead…

And ended up with a respectable draw…

You were robbed, Danny…

Proof why he should have won...

The Ralph Express...

We announced last summer’s incoming transfers via The Ralph Express. And, for some reason, this particular one attracted a bit of attention...

We'll pass, thanks!

What. A. Goal.

So good was this team effort against Chelsea, that we gave it some special treatment (keep an eye out for N’Golo Kanté’s guest appearance)

Demolition derby!

Portsmouth 0-4 Southampton. Enough said.

New high score...

Celebrating a record-setting season on the road…

Summing it all up...

What a season!
