Ralph Hasenhüttl's selection has been boosted by the timely return of both Moussa Djenepo and Jack Stephens ahead of this weekend's Man City clash, with both players serving out their respective suspension periods.
Welcoming Stephens, who has scored against City this season, back to the fold may well be crucial in light of this week's team news, with Hasenhüttl confirming that defender Jannik Vestergaard is sidelined with a muscle problem.
The manager also listed concerns over Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Sofiane Boufal, who are both unlikely to feature after also missing out on last week's Watford trip.
He said: "We have a few problems, still with Pierre [Højbjerg] and also with Sofiane [Boufal]. It won't be possible for either of those.
"Jannik Vestergaard has a few problems with a muscle injury and also Yan Valery and Nathan Tella, they won't be available.
"It's a busy time, but we must see who is available for the weekend."
