More than 140 staff members from 56 different organisations joined Saints Foundation for a Collaboration Conference geared towards sharing best practice in this difficult and unprecedented time.
Led by Lee Nicholas, Saints Foundation’s Coaching and Training Development Officer, the aim of the session was to bring together those from across the industry to take part in discussions.
Saints Foundation staff led the discussions on our current challenges as well as how we are currently supporting staff and participants alike.
On the call were the representatives from the Premier League as well as other football club charities including Manchester United Foundation and The Aston Villa Foundation.
The latter remarked: “On behalf of Aston Villa Foundation, we would like to say a massive thank you for the excellent conference you and your team put on today. The conference and the flow were superb throughout, easy to navigate to and from each room.
“The Saints coaches ran the webinar extremely well, getting people to write in the chat function and then asking them to explain via the video and microphone function.”

I thought it was fantastic to see some many staff from across the country collaborating and sharing best practice to support the development of our participants and staff.

“There seems to be an appetite across the country to continue to collaborate and so we're currently exploring how we can continue to do this in the future.”
Keep an eye on our social media channels for more details on any future conferences.
