Stay At Home Cup champion to be decided

By SFC Media time Thu 14 May esports

The Stay At Home Cup concludes on Thursday night, with the final four battling it out to be crowned champions.

The eight-team tournament is uniting a selection of Europe’s top clubs and their respective official FIFA esports players, with AS Roma, Lyon, Ajax and PSV progressing from the group stage to now compete in the semi-finals.

In what is an unprecedented and difficult time, the tournament has provided the chance for each club to fundraise for their chosen cause at the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For Southampton, fundraising has been directed towards the Saints Foundation, which has embedded itself further within the local community by offering new and existing initiatives, some of which come as a result of the recently launched Saints As One campaign.

Saints’ official esports player, Owen ‘SaintsVenny’ Venn, bowed out of the tournament last Thursday but donations to support the Foundation can still be made.
