Saints encourage young fans to 'Chase The Rainbow'

Southampton Football Club is encouraging its young fans to ‘Chase The Rainbow’, as part of the Saints As One campaign.

Thousands of children up and down the country have been drawing rainbows and hanging them in their windows to brighten people’s day during the coronavirus pandemic.

With the UK in a state of lockdown, families are faced with hours at home with little to do.

The popular trend, which sees people spot the pictures as they go on social distancing walks around their local communities, has gone viral.

The drawings are designed to help people keep positive, with rainbows showing that the sun follows heavy rainfall.

Young Saints supporters can now colour in their own personalised rainbows, which include a thank you message to the NHS, by downloading theirs here. (PDF 508 KB)

What’s more, we also have nine pages of bespoke Saints outlines for our junior fans to decorate as they please, ensuring this difficult time can still include a fun Saints twist – even in the absence of any Premier League action at St Mary’s.
