Southampton’s youngsters turn their attentions to Hampshire Senior Cup action tomorrow night, with the visit to Havant and Waterlooville to Snows Stadium (7.45pm GMT).

Dave Horseman’s Under-23s side have the opportunity to make the semi-finals of the competition with a victory over last season’s winners.

Saints lost out at the semi-final stage last year following a 4-4 draw and a penalty shootout defeat by Basingstoke Town.

“We want to do well in the tournament,” said Horseman. “The game will throw up different challenges to a typical Premier League 2 game.”

Southampton booked their place in Tuesday night’s quarter-final with a 4-1 victory over AFC Totton in the last round.

“They’re [Havant] a really good team, with good players who have a history of playing pro football in the game at various different clubs.

“It will be an exceptionally young team from us that they will come across, so it will be a brilliant challenge.”

Tickets for Tuesday night’s quarter-final are available as follows:

• Adults - £5
• Concessions - £3
• Under-13s – Free

The tie will take place at AFC Totton's Snows Stadium (Salisbury Rd, Totton, Southampton SO40 2RW).

Please note that parking will not be available at the stadium, but instead is offered in the Calmore Industrial Estate (approximately a three minute walk).

The winners of the tie will face National League side Eastleigh.
