Southampton head to Leicester this weekend for the first time since their 9-0 beating at the hands of the Foxes, but for Ralph Hasenhüttl the bigger memory is not that result but how his team responded to it.
The humbling defeat at St Mary's in late October was a dark moment, but the gloom has been lifted by what has since followed, with Saints's form picking up markedly, culminating in the side taking ten points from a possible 12 over a challenging festive period to lift themselves up to 12th in the Premier League.

"After the game it was maybe the most difficult moment in our season, but, in the end, two months later it was a moment where we look back and say we took a lot of motivation for the last months," said Hasenhüttl.
"When you know that this result happened, it's like a new starting point for us, and from then to now we learned a lot and we made a good progress.
"We took the chance to stand up again and now we are in a much better position."
Saturday's clash at King Power Stadium marks the beginning of a four-game run in the Premier League through to Saints' winter break, with a home game against Wolves and away trips to Crystal Palace and Liverpool following it.
It is a difficult run of fixtures, but with wins over the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham in the past few weeks, there remains optimism from Hasenhüttl that improving on their current placing is possible.
"We have never been so high in the table since I was here, in 12th position," he said. "But still the next four fixtures are very difficult, with three very difficult away games, but we showed this season that we can take points in away games, and if you can take points at Chelsea you can take points everywhere."
