The main topics of discussion from manager Ralph Hasenhüttl's media address ahead of the Premier League trip to Leicester...

Reverse fixture reflections...

“At first, I think we had a moment we will never forget. That’s for sure.

“What the team showed after this result, where we knew it was an absolute disaster for us, was absolutely outrageous from the mentality and character to fight back to a successful way. We didn’t have easy games but we did it really well.

“When you look now how the team is playing it looks completely different and I cannot praise them enough for the reaction they’ve showed and maybe a thank you for this evening because it was an important one for us.”

More confidence...

“That’s normal because when you get good results you can feel the quality in the sessions is rising, the self-confidence is rising and the belief is back.

“When you have clean sheets against Tottenham and Chelsea, a win away and a win at home, it feels fantastic for the players.

“I don’t have the feeling that they are not hungry anymore, so we will stay hunting and know it’s only in the last eight games that we have taken 16 points which is massive.

“I don’t see a reason why we should lean back now because it’s an important period in the season and the more points we take now, the less pressure we will have at the end. We are still looking at the relegation instead of the top.

“There are only five points between us and 18th and, two months ago, we were under this line. We don’t want to be in our comfort zone.”

On Leicester...

“I think they are a very strong side and he [Brendan Rodgers] does a fantastic job with this team. They have a very clear philosophy and are very flexible in their shape.

“They are tactical and well organised. It’s not a coincidence that they are so high in the table.

"To take something against them is not easy but we want to show we can do it better than we did in the first game.”

On hopes for the rest of the season...

“It’s a long way to go. We are now in a different mode and I think we are not looking to the end of the season, we are looking forward to every game.

“We feel we are more competitive and we want to show ourselves that we can compete with this team and this is the only goal we have.

"We look at the next game and enjoy what we are doing at the moment because you can see the players are doing it well and they like to do it."

On the transfer window...

“We are in the market and we are looking for full-backs because we know that we don’t have that many options at the moment.

“I was happy that Jake Vokins played there in the FA Cup but he still a young player who has to learn a lot. We have Ryan [Bertrand], but we don’t really have an alternative for him.

“This is the position that we are also missing Yan Valery on the right side, so we don’t have many alternatives.

“This will definitely be a position that we do something in.”

Team news...

“The team news so far is very good. We have nearly everybody on the pitch apart from Yan Valery.

“He is still separate from the team. He has done a few jogs and runs. The rest are with the team.”
