Moussa Djenepo, who returned from a tendon injury at the start of the month, will re-join his Mali teammates as they face Guinea in their opening Africa Cup of Nations qualifier (7pm GMT).
The lively winger missed the second leg of the Eagles’ second qualifying round clash with Mauritania, but will look to help his country make a perfect start in Group A.
Also in qualifying action is Maya Yoshida, who could reach a significant milestone on Thursday morning.
If selected, the defender will make his 100th appearance for Samurai Blue in their World Cup qualifier against Kyrgyzstan (11.15am GMT).
After three matches, Japan sit top of Group F with a 100% record, now facing second placed Kyrgyzstan.
Skipper Yoshida is in line to become the eighth Japanese international to reach a century of caps.
